Worship at Parkway

We begin our Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M. in one of our
many Sunday School classes.
Our Reformed Worship meets on Sunday at 10:00 A.M. and
includes: Adult Choir, Adult and Children's Sermons, and
Hymns (both traditional and contemporary). There is a
Children's Church for ages 3 - 5. Following this service we
meet again in the Fellowship Hall for refreshments and
fellowship.
We hold special services for Easter, Thanksgiving,
Christmas and other times.
Nursery care is provided for all services.
Church School

The Church School meets on Sunday at 9:00 A.M. and has
classes for all age groups. The classes are divided by age
groups, school grades, a variety of interests, and different
approaches to Bible Study.
We also have Vacation Bible School each year. We encourage
family participation.
Parkway Presbyterian Church is a member church of the
Presbyterian Church, U.S.A. As Presbyterians we are
connected to other Presbyterian churches in the area through
The Presbytery of Florida and to all Presbyterian Churches
through the General Assembly. Through this congregation, our
mission dollars make a greater impact on local and
international issues.
The Presbyterian Church U.S.A. is a Reformed Church. We are
governed by a Board of Elders called a Session. In polity we
follow the Book of Order updated yearly by the General
Assembly and the Book of Confession. We are a confessional
church and believe Scripture is authoritative and informed by
our confessions and traditions.

The Parkway Presbyterian Church invites you to become a
member by meeting with the Elders to express your faith in
Christ by one of the following ways:

By Profession of Faith - This means you recieve Jesus Christ
as Savior and Lord and sincerely promise to live for Him.
Previous baptism is accounted valid or the Sacrament of
Pabtism may be administered at the time of profession.

By Transfer of Membership - Request the pastor to write your
former Presbyterian Church U.S.A. for a certificate or "Letter of
Transfer." Often the Sesison will receive new members simply
upon a statement of former membership and "pending the
reception of the transfer letter."

By Reaffirmation of Faith - If you have been long inactive or
separated from the church for some time or wish to rededicate
yourself, you may be recieved on reaffirmation of your faith
without being rebaptized.

"And Jesus said... He that believeth on me shall never thirst...
and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." John
6:35, 37.
